Does Home brewed beer still give off CO2 after fermenting?

Once the fermentation has stopped then the production of carbon dioxide will stop. But that migh take a very long time and, in any case, you want your beer to have bit of fizz! If it's clear then now's the time to put it into a cask and start drinking it, or to put in into bottles with a bit of priming sugar ready for storage.
