Does imitation beer have less alcohol content than the original?

I want to buy a keg of miller but don't want to spend 300+ for it. I was told of an option to buy an imitation keg of beer that is made to taste just like Miller (this only costs $80). This isn't exactly a high-roller party so the taste is not really a big deal.
