Is communism an unnatural way for humans to live their lives? Doesn't nature demand that there be competition?

Well, for humans I guess it's a bit unnatural. To work together with a small group of people is one thing but to build an economy working with millions of people is another. But nature does have a lot of examples. Ants are kind of communists.
